Review of Stone Valley Festival North

Great small festival, don't spoil it by trying to make it bigger  toilets at other end of the tent and some nicer stalls would be good. 

Review of NORTHERN KIN FESTIVAL

Positives:
Lovey staff in the car park who allowed us to leave a parking space for the later arrivals in our party.
Being allowed to park beside our tents.
Also, lovey staff on the arena entrance doing sensible searches.
Clean toilets in the campsite that were replenished and cleaned regularly. Only saw one "iffy" one all weekend. And minimal queues. You got the ratio of portaloos correct. Not every festival manages that.
Lovely variety of bands.
Reasonably-priced merch, but NO PROGRAMMES!
Nice neig*bours at the campsite.

The security dude (who looked a bit like Alan Shearer) bopping-along to Ferocious Dog.
Only minimal litter. Looks like punters gave the litter crews very little to do.

Negatives:
You said in advance that there would be a choice of ales at reasonable prices. Two ale options at £5.50 per pint does not fit that criteria. I didn't bother with the bar. Cans were also overpriced. Look into getting a different supplier for next time, please.  If your drinks are cheaper, people will buy!
Only one water point for the whole site from what I can gather (hands up if I'm wrong about that). Some people were DRIVING to it and churning up the ground in the process. The water from the showers draining onto the ground didn't help the ground either.
A couple of wobbly portaloos in the arena and location of the urinals wasn't well publicised.
No programmes or posters showing who was on when. Not everyone carries a smartphone at a festival.
I know you can't do much about the uneven ground, but the damned thistles, especially when putting up our tents - ouch!
Some of the security inside the arena weren't great, especially during Ferocious Dog. If someone is either on shoulders or indeed doing a pyramid - we KNOW what we're doing and are well-practiced at this. Look up live videos of a song called "Freeborn John" on Youtube to see how well this works without any staff intervention.
It is illegal to smoke indoors and has been for many years. So how come two of your security staff thought it was OK to smoke indoors during Wilko Johnson?

Fantastic festival atmosphere was brilliant bands were amazing definitely be back next year

A few glitches with the new site but overall a very enjoyable festival.

Fantastic festival - have been every year since it started in 2013 - love the music, atmosphere and great people.
