About

We are a Cafe/Bar and Venue in the heart of the city centre, amidst the picturesque setting that is Edinburgh Quay. With one of the city’s largest beer gardens and two floors with two bars, Akva is everything and anything you want it to be, whether that’s brunch with the kids, a birthday party, a wedding, a conference space, a live music venue, space to network or just a cocktail after work on a Friday. We serve a delicious brunch menu, a help-yourself lunch Smörgåsbord every day and we’ve thrown our Swedish roots into the delicious local produce to create our regular menu. We are children & young person friendly with 2 kids corners: Fri- & Saturdays until 8pm and Sun-Thursday until 10pm. We have a selection of toys and kids areas to keep the children entertained and two full-size ping pong tables for the adults. We also allow dogs! So you can pop in after walking your dog along Union Canal.
