The Techno Artillery Fringe Fundraiser Special

The Techno Artillery returns to Cab Vol for a night of two stepping for a good cause, this time in aid of Blue Triangle Housing Association - Millhill, Musselburgh project. Taking over all 3 rooms in Edinburgh's iconic underground club, you'll definitely find a vibe to keep you moving and grooving.

BTHA was set up in 1975 to provide housing support to everyone of all ages, with their Millhill project specifically aiming to help 16-25 year olds who are experiencing homelessness. Millhill's service user meet with their personal key worker once a week to discuss support plans moving forward, these support plans are catered to each service users specific needs. This charity is close to TTA Founders heart after needing to use their services after experiencing homelessness herself from the ages of 17-20.

Down in the main room expect to hear many variations of house, tech-house and techno. The Techno Artillery welcomes East Lothians Connor McHugh and Veen, Connor kicks off the main room in style, followed by up n coming Producer, Veen, with multiple records released with 'Houz', Veens sound is one you dont want to miss. We welcome back TTA's beloved dynamic duo, Clear, to headline this Fringe Special. TTA head honcho, TY, returns behind the decks, bringing a harder sound than usual.

Heading into room 2, we'll be providing you with hardgroove, trance with some harder techno making an appearance. You'll find Finn Somerville kicking off room two in style before passing over to TTA residents, Brad2mack, this pair are no stranger to keeping a party alive. Glagow based DJ and one half of Echo Records UK, MØNTY, makes his Techno Artillery debut showcasing his skilled talents. We've invited down one of Glasgows rising Producer/DJ's, A-TØN. After securing a regular slot hosting her own shindigs at Nico's and securing a place on TRNSMT's Boogie Bar lineup, it was a no brainer to have this fiery gal play during this Fringe special. CRØØK.T.D closes off Room 2 with energy like none other.

Prefer a more chill vibe? We've got you covered in Cab Vols 'Cafe Voltaire', opening up at 10pm with some soft house and disco before moving onto a vinyl special from 11pm. Glasgow based DJ and other half of Echo Records UK, Undercurrent, brings his extensive knowledge of music providing us with house, afro and electro up until 3am. Cabaret Voltaire resident, Päto, shuts things down with a bit minimal techno, bringing in unique sounds to give his sets an original touch.

Come kick off The Fringe Festival with a bang all whilst raising money for a good cause. All steam ahead towards the vaults this August.
