Review of HELLBENT FOREVER - The Definitive Judas Priest Tribute
Blistering and rocking concert by Hellbent Forever. Just like and even better than Priest as you are right next to all the action. Mr Halfords brilliant voice and suited and booted in appropriate Halford uniform and both guitarists were exceptional especially KK lookalike. Don't forget the powerhouse of excellent drummer who looked like Steve Harris of Maiden and the bassist who loved being on stage and playing w***eminded me of Saxon for some reason perhaps due to the bandana. All gelled together to sound just like J.P. and I have to say JD you closed your eyes then you would honestly have thought they were Priest. Crowd loved them chanting Priest which honoured the band and their music. Two solid hours and my ears will be ringing for days to come. Finally, the wah wah pedal guitar by KK is reason enough to attend just wait till you hear it. ! Mind blowing 😊

Review of VIOLET BLEND - Italy and ALABAMA CROW
Two great bands for 5 quid. Violet Blue one of the best original bands I've seen in years. Sound quality at Dreadnought venue excellent...but.. noone showed up? 10 people on a friday night? Come on Bathgate! Embarassing. The pub round the corner was packed for kareoke cat wailing?...has Bathgate disintegrated to that? anyway, had a couple of cold beers and met some really nice people and felt obliged to personally thank the band at the end for what was essentially an almost private performance. A cry to Bathgate-please get out the house and support original musical talent! Not every town has a Dreadnought...please appreciate this. Wishing much success to Alabama Crow and Violet Blue.
