Review of UK/DC - Ac/Dc Tribute - Sold Out - Waiting List Only / Re:Sell
UK-DC think they're a premier AC-DC tribute act, they're not! There's no point in sugar coating it, UK-DC are god awful.
An awkward start to the gig with the band playing AC-DC over the PA. We waited for the band to take over and keep it going but they cut the tape and started Live Wire as a separate song. One of the worst versions of Live Wire you'll ever hear with far too much base and a lead singer that can't hit the notes.
The seductive guitar in The Jack was replaced with a thrash through. The butchering of Riff Raff and High Voltage left one wondering if AC-DC were ever a successful band.
An odd set choice was Down Payment Blues, a song AC-DC have rarely featured Live and a song that lacks the liveliness you'd expect from a tribute band.
Apart from the drunks down the front, there was little hand clapping and sing a long from those at the back, which isn't like the Dreadnought at all.
The band seemed to insist on ending each song with their own add-ons/fills and it didn't sound good. Overall UK-DC lack the energy, drive and excitement of an AC-DC gig. We left after an hour.

Review of The Polis -Scotland's very own tribute to THE POLICE
Band were excellent, full of energy, certainly recommend them.
Only downside was the poor attendance so atmosphere was a bit lacking , a pity as I mentioned the band were excellent ?'?
