Luxera 'Into the Spirals' Single Launch

Formed in 2023, Luxera have honed their own brand of hard-hitting, energetic thrash at an exponential pace, having played alongside legends of the Scottish scene such as Hellripper, Endless Swarm and Disposable. Now the time has come to join them as they celebrate the release of their new single, 'Into the Spirals', alongside a stacked bill featuring some of the greatest grassroots metal Scotland has to offer. FFO Metallica, Suicidal Tendencies, Anthrax, Pest Control.

On main support are young blackened groove metallers Chekhov's Gun. Forming in 2023, Chekhov's Gun have completed their fermentation and are ready to emerge from the dark recesses of Auld Reekie. With their unique blend of death, groove, prog and black metal they aim to breathe new life into the Scottish metal scene.

This bill also sees the long awaited return of local sludge metal legends Primitive Vices. Formed in 2020 and hailing from Scotland’s metal heartland of Penicuik, Primitive Vices quickly rose up the ranks, playing across the UK and releasing their debut album, 'Savage Sonic Sermons', in 2022 before entering hibernation in early 2024 and returning with a new lineup January 2025. Joining this bill as well are Glasgow blackened crossover teen powerhouse Doppelgänger. If there’s one thing this young powerhouse achieves without fail it is absolute carnage. Taking influence from artists such as Hellripper, Power Trip and Anthrax to create a unique sound guaranteed to whip the crowd up into some of the wildest pits you’ll see.

Opening the bill are Serpent. These Edinburgh metal scene newcomers have quickly made a name for themselves, taking inspiration from bands such as Machine Head, Obituary, Black Label Society and Pantera to bring a delightful blend of thrash, groove and death to any stage they take. With crushing riffs, relentless drumming and brutal, raw vocals they promise to bring the energy early on with an absolutely unrelenting performance.
