Leith has always been more than just a place—it’s a spirit, a community, and a movement. From its history as a working-class port town to its evolution into a vibrant cultural hub, Leith embodies resilience, creativity, and connection. That’s why Delbhoy Kennedy (proud Leither) & David Fraser (proud resident) have joined forces alongside Broken Wing Club & Edinburgh Music college to bring the area some well deserved Music & art Re:Leith—a festival dedicated to the people, the music, and the heart of this iconic part of Edinburgh.

On May 25th, we’re gathering a litany of local artists to ignite the sounds of Leith once more. The ethos is to give some exciting local talent the chance to perform in there home town alongside artists like Tommy Scott (lead singer of platinum selling 90s cult classic band (Space) Nicky Lipp (Sergeant) & a host of artists currently waving the flag for Leith & to engage the culture by bringing people together #ForThePeople.

Music has always been at Leith’s heart, from legendary gigs at Leith Theatre (AC/DC, Thin Lizzy) to Sunshine on Leith becoming an anthem of community pride. 

Now, it’s time for a new generation to make its mark. Re-Leith is about keeping this energy alive—through music, togetherness, and a deep love for our home.
