hopetoun house event was miles clear, venue was poor and prices rediculous

Honestly had such a great time. Everything was organised really well had zero issues. Dj's were fab and just overall great atmosphere. Will defo be back next year :)

This was my third Fly event and the worst by far. The whole idea of fly open air is to be outside like all their previous events. This years overall production was terrible and with the high cost ticket price of £78 it was clear the hosts at Fly were  looking to make big profit at the expense of quality. The so called "second stage" was a set of decks on a mini van. This was set up in what looked to be a car park with uneven terrain and dirt, destroying my trainers.  When I asked members of staff why the music volume was so low, they explained they had received a noise complaint, which  really took away from the experience. In addition, the speakers were extremely poor quality and crackling, even at the low volume it was played. The price for food and drinks was ridiculous with a small portion kebab and chips costing £15 and 1 double vodka for £12. The line up itself was also the poorest yet with the majority of the acts being smaller names, when compared to previous years. Lastly the third room was also closed due to technical faults.
Overall this experience was shocking, and the company has mis- sold on this event by promising 2 indoor stages and 1 outdoor stage. When there was actually only 1 official stage. I feel totally ripped off with the whole experience.
