Review of This Feeling - Edinburgh
The music was good, enjoyed Blackbirds and Velvet Starlings. I did notice the bands had problems with the sound system, for a club of this standing I would have thought they would have better equipment.

Review of This Feeling - Edinburgh
Great gig at Sneaky Petes.
Opening act Blackbirds were ok with shades of John Squire coming through from the guitarist.
Up next were Fife band Dovv. These guys were superb great tunes and engagement with the crowd. Ones to watch.
Next were touring band Velvet Starlings from California with some great 60s psychedelic vibes. Really good but surprised they weren’t headlining.
Last band were Weekend Away- they were ok doing their own material but set was mostly cover versions…not what was expected.
Having said that £9 for four bands two of which were exceptional is great value.

Review of Broken Chanter
I've tried to see Broken Chanter a few times, but every time, something cropped up , so it was great to finally see them live. A great set of songs, played beautifully, and well-received in this intimate venue. See them before they have to play the much bigger venues. Highly recommended.
