I bought tickets online for this event having never been here or out for New Years Eve. I thought it would be a great night, the facebook event detailed Parisian theme throughout and great drink deals. When we arrived we went to the bar for a drink- one of those on a deal- turns out they didn't have any bottles left....this was New Years Eve-and they had promoted this drink for the night so why did they not have any right at the opening times of the club. so then we asked for various spirits & mixers and found out basically all they sold was vodka or beer. In a group of three girls-this proved rubbish already, but we bought a drink none the less, and headed to the dancefloor. I asked one of the floor staff where the second room was as mentioned on FB, and turns out this was it and the floor in front of the bar. Or you had to pay to get into VIP. There was no Parisian theme apart from a candle holder on each reserved table. And the floor staff knew nothing of the photo booth or floor shows as stated on Facebook. New Years eve was definitely ruined- we walked out of the club in under an hour as the music was very poor- spotify does a better job of changing one song to another than the DJ at Suva that night. Also the amount of security guards at the start of the night were ridiculous- walking past every 2 minutes looking you up and down, made me feel very uncomfortable. The Parisian Ball.....a total let down!! Would never recommend this place to anyone! and will never pay that price again for a shoddy themed night, ridiculous!
