Review of Aynsley Lister + Support
The Caves - a great, friendly venue, with good sound. The size is such that you feel close to the stage and can see the act.
Aynsley Lister and his band were terrific - they just seem to get better all the time. The musicianship, skill and talent go without saying, but add to that an infectious enthusiasm and obvious pleasure in performing and you have a wonderful evening.
Aynsley is a superb guitar player, with an incredible range through Blues and Rock etc. Although guitar is number one, his vocals are equally good and every number tells a story.
Unfortunately, a member of the audience collapsed and the show had to end early. I hope the gentleman has recovered and we can all be there again in December 2018 - I do need to see and hear Purple Rain!!

Review of Aynsley Lister + Support
If you are into modern blues then you could do worse than go see Aynsley Lister. He is a very melodic player and technically very competent. His band were excellent too, with a special mention for the guy on drums, Bonito, who kept the whole thing effortlessly moving forward with both straight and funky chops.
The support act was truly awful, the Craig Borland trio, who sounded like a third year high school band and delivered no memorable moments at all.
Review of Jackhammer with Dave Clarke & Neil Landstrumm - Live
Organisation-wise, the beginning of the party was an absolute disgrace as a bunch of us were getting quite angry with the music going on and off for more than 40 minutes. Information on the flyer/web showed "10pm to 3am" and there wasn't anything close to a "party atmosphere" until past midnight. Many people went in and they left somewhere else a while, which Im sure has made an impact on your revenue coming from drinks too. Other than that, thanks to the DJs who were as expected.

Review of Jackhammer with Dave Clarke & Neil Landstrumm - Live
Gig wasn't oversold, so was able to dance - it was a pleasure compared to the packed crowd that was at Liquid rooms last week for Green Velvet. Good mix of music. Excellent, quirky venue.
