Review of St Patricks Day - Friday 17th March

The venue was overcrowded. Nobody could move on the dance floor. If people wanted to leave it was a ripple effect of pushing and shoving as there was nowhere else to go. The bar was packed the whole time but only had two members of staff on. Waited at least 15 minutes to get served. People standing in the 'corridors' made getting from one area to another very difficult. They should not have had that many people in the club- made my whole experience negative and I will not be returning to Hive because of this.

Cloakroom attendant gave me abuse after arguing with her; she refused to give me my jack*t back (she was adamant I had been given two tick*ts, one per item, instead of just the one, after checking in two items). Good night, tho

Being a student I normally love hive, but tonight was just too crowded and full of too many way too drunk people. Hive had said on their facebook page that there would be a separate queue for people with pre paid tickets, however there wasn't so I spent over half an hour in the freezing cold to be allowed entry after people who didn't have tickets. By the time we got inside, we were too grouchy and tired to enjoy ourselves and left after five minutes. Won't be attending a pre-ticketed event at hive again.

Hive NYE: AWFUL

Absolutely awful experience. Bouncers were extremely rude, aggressive and ill-informed. We queued for the whole time only to be accused of NOT queuing when we got to the front?? Once inside some of the staff were nicer, but the cloak room clerk was rude and horrible, telling me to hurry up because of the 'big queue'? there was no queue. The whole experience really ruined NYE for us.

I would like to try and get my money back, but I seriously doubt I'll be met with anything other than rudeness and aggression.
