Review of Woodland Dance Project - Chase & Status / Mungos Hifi / Bushbaby
This was our first Woodland Dance Project and we had an absolutely amazing time. The venue is a stunning choice, the decor was beautiful and the lighting was incredible. I thought the different stages were very well curated to cater to a range of music tastes and the artist choices were excellent . I was also very impressed at the lack of sound bleed over when at different stages, considering how close they were. The site was laid out in a very sensible manner for the space and was a pleasure to walk around. Very much appreciated the communal fires and seating, those are a very nice touch and very much improved my experience. I've marked the price rating in the middle as the tickets were a bit expensive, but it's definitely worth everything you pay. The whole event had a nice atmosphere and I would definitely go to another.

Great atmosphere but more toilets and possibly somewhere to keep valuables safe. I know of multiple peoples stuff going missing or being stolen

Clearly underfunded, a lot of corners were cut from the previous woodland. The crowd was full of private school heads mosh pitting to chase which is just a bit tragic. But that isn't the fault of the festival. I hope that the funding issue is resolved because it felt like it was a profit making scheme rather than at the previous woodland's I've been to which clearly had a lot more effort/funding put in. Would be a shame for the festival to loose the charm it had.

Event was incredible. However, transportation home was very poorly organised. Few busses and enormous queues. Took over 2 hours to even leave the venue

Review of Woodland Dance Project - Chase & Status / Mungos Hifi / Bushbaby
In preparation for the event, myself and my friends booked return bus journeys. Our bus left Waterloo, Princes Street at 3.15pm and took us over an hour to arrive at the venue due to our bus driver stopping off at ASDA along the way- consequently arriving much later than we anticipated. In addition, our return journey was an extremely unpleasant experience. The event was shut down an hour early causing a chaotic exit of people towards the buses (of which we’re nowhere to be seen). After standing outside waiting for a bus for over 1 hour and after being pushed to the back of the queue due to a highly unorganised and stressful queuing system, myself and my friends were forced to attempt to flag down an unoccupied cab home- luckily managing to do this, but incurring additional unnecessary costs. Given this, I am writing to enquire about receiving a refund for this return journey and detail my disappointment in the event, having paid a lot of money to attend.
