Review of Midlothian Fire & Light walk - Vogrie Country Park
Ludicrous prices whatever happened to art for arts sake living your own best life should not be paid for by hard working single mums so as middle class rich kids can play at being crustys for a few years they even charged us for leaving the venue when after seven on any night it’s free come on folks

Review of Woodland Dance Project - Fall Dance
On the whole I had an amazing time, however taking into account how amazing it was listening to the hip-hop and Drum and bass on the stage in the woods I was a bit disappointed to be in a small tent for that this time.
The only reason I have 2 stars for venue though instead of 4 was because Electrikal Sound were embarrassingly bad. I could barely catch a single word LEVELZ were saying as they obviously hadn't EQed for vocals at all. This ruined the main experience I bought a ticket for. What's the point of you paying a hip-hop group if no one can hear the words? Might of well just hired another DJ.
Same went for BadCompany, couldn't hear more than Bass and higher notes, no real mid at all.

Review of Woodland Dance Project - Fall Dance
Love the arty surroundings, but music was about 90% reggae dub & bassline which made it SO boring after so many hours. Needs to be mixed up because I felt like every stage was playing the same song as I was walking around. Spongebob Squarewave was a breath of fresh air at the end.

Review of Woodland Dance Project - Fall Dance
When I came in (12 o clock) I was a bit disappointed. My biggest problem was the drink prices, £4 for a small can of beer...?! I thought the guy behind the bar was joking, but he wasn't. It felt a bit like flying with a budget company, the tickets are cheap but anything you buy afterwards is extremely expensive. On the other hand I don't know how you could do it differently, since I know how expensive it is to run a festival like this (even though most of it looked like it was in your own possession so a lot cheaper) and if you put the ticket prices up nobody will come anymore. But this felt a bit like I was cheated, if you put the prices down by a pound I guarantee you, people will buy more...
I thought the venue was bigger, but by the time it started to become busy that didn't matter anymore. And the lighting/decorations started to come into their right much more after dark. The venue was beautifully decorated and for that price very well organised. And even though I lost my hat, I had a brilliant time, thank you!
