Wool Gathering at Winton is held in the beautiful Winton Castle in East Lothian. The beautiful rooms make a grand location to browse and shop in. There will also be designated ‘craft and chill’ areas where you can relax in luxurious surroundings with your knitting or crochet, chat with friends new and old and admire the latest goodies you’ve purchased from our wonderful stallholders!
The grounds of the castle are lovely to take a leisurely stroll around and enjoy the scenery. The cafe is located a short distance from the Castle in the Potting Shed. It is all on one level and has a disabled toilet onsite. The cafe will have a selection of teas, coffees, scones, cakes and light lunches available to purchase.
£1 from every ticket sold will be donated to Edinburgh Dog and Cat Home and we also have a raffle with all money raised going to this amazing cause!
We will also have a collection station for Operation Christmas Stocking to collect hats, scarves, gloves and socks to be delivered to homeless people across Edinburgh in connection with Crisis at Christmas.
