Didn't know what to expect but for £16.50 per adult it was definitely on the pricey side for this.
1 obstacle bouncy castle and 3 others.

The giant ball pit was just a normal sized one. Over priced drinks.

No control over character meet and greets.

We're shepherded to sit in one area instead of being able to use the grass in front of the bouncy castles.


One burger can and one German hot dog stall that was it for the food fest.


Won't be going again

Saturday was a disaster, I paid for 3 tickets to watch my daughter only one band sung, by the time I got there after work there was only a handful of people there. I am requesting a refund please.

OK so... ElyFest Family day. A few important points...

If you say 'giant ball pit' you'd better mean 'giant', the one you has was at best 90x90cms and big enough for 2 kids at a time. Probably the smallest ball pit I've ever seen outside friend's houses.

I love music, but music in the tent so loud that it damages the hearing of toddlers and babies is a no-go - I couldn't be queued up for face painting with my toddler because the music was too loud for my 5 month old. These are kids, not twenty-something ravers, turn it down, the kids will love the music at whatever volume!

They *tried* to charge an extra tenner for the extra bouncy castles, then went back on this later in the day - don't advertise 'bouncy castles' then expect people to pay MORE for access to them after spending £20/adult and £10/kid!!!!

Finally, the drinks charges are extortionate, £3 for a juice from a carton that costs £1... I know you have to make money somewhere, but that was crazy and the bar was empty most of the day as a result, had the drinks been more reasonably priced we probably would have bought a few.

So on the one hand, the marketing led us to believe this was a bigger event than it was (bravo marketeers), initially it was disappointing, but on the other hand....

...the kids had a great time, the activities were great, and my daughter thought it was the real Taylor Swift, so a very enjoyable day out.

Would we go again... sad to say it, but no. The village 'Picnic in the Park' is far superior, free, and on our doorstep. ElyFest, you need to do MORE to keep people coming back, this was overall disappointing. And while the kids had a great day out, the parents - who are spending hard earned money - just felt ripped-off!

This event was a total con, the posters looked good but in reality it was one food stall, a tiny ball pit and a bouncy castle and a tent with a DJ on what appeared to be a random bit of land behind cineworld.

Completely missold event small tiny caged area not as advertised at all.

Complete rip off and false advertisement. Nearly £40 to enter, with a few bouncy castles, street food was one burger van and one German sausage stand. Left after 20 mins.

Festival was not as described and very misleading. Extremely disappointing given the ticket price for the event. No contact details available anywhere to make a complaint and request a refund for the event.

Very underwhelmed compared to how the event was sold. My little girl loved fearlessly Taylor but the rest of the event was of a very low standard

From what we were led to believe that there was to be more things for the kids to play on and the ball pit was advertised as large? It was the smallest one I had ever seen. It was said there was to be stalls of street food and you you had two hot dog stalls. The restaurants on the complex did a roaring trade.
So will not go to another one.

I would go as far to say there were a lot of false advertisement. 'Giant ball pit'- could barely fit 2 children. 'Wide range of food vans'- there were 2 vans.
We left within an hour of arriving.

Event was very small and not worth the entry fee at all. Advertised very well but reality was a poor event with minimal activities for the kids.
