e are primarily a family oriented village social club affiliated to the Royal British Legion and located in Sutton approx. 6 miles west of the Cathedral City of Ely Cambridgeshire.
The Sutton & District (Isle of Ely) branch of The Royal British Legion was formed as long ago as 1921. The club however was not founded until 1946. Our first premises were an old second world war Nissen hut salvaged from RAF Mildenhall but we moved to new purpose built premises at The Brooklands Centre in 1997. These premises incorporate a members club, the village hall which is managed by the club in conjunction with the parish council and accommodation for our bar manager and his family.
