About

H A W K L O R D S

British Space-Rock Band

Originally formed in 1978 from the ashes of The Sonic Assassins, by Robert Calvert and Dave Brock (of Hawkwind).

RELATIVITY TOUR 2024

Lose your mind and save your soul on a roller-coaster ride of pure Space-Rock & Roll

Expect a cosmic head-trip as HAWKLORDS return to the UK tour circuit to promote their 11th studio album, RELATIVITY. Sounding, at times, as if the music has fallen through a worm-hole from the classic 1970s era of space-rock and psychedelia, the new release explores themes including Artificial Intelligence, ‘machine learning’ and how Humanity can, in part, come to terms with all that entails.

Guitarist, Jerry Richards: “It’s about perspectives, really. Perception depends upon where you’re standing when you witness what it is that you see, hear, or feel. As [Albert] Einstein said, ‘“Everything is relative.”’ This new album explores observations of our shared reality: That which was, that which is and that which is yet to be.”

The band has toured the UK and Europe consistently since rebooting in 2008.
