You weren't allowed readmission into the festival after 8, which wasn't stated anywhere on the wed site and for the first 2 days there wasn't any rule about having to be over 16 to be allowed in the festival unsupervised as well as having to show ID however on the last day that rule was up in place. I wasn't carrying an ID showing I was over 16 in which they denied me access into the festival on the last day

This event used to be a family festival with a good safe atmosphere. It's changed to being full of young 13 to 16 year olds . There were three big fun fair rides and it felt more like a fair in some respects. It really took the edge of the atmosphere as the teenagers were on each others shoulders and throwing plastic b**kers through the crowd. Families were having to move their kids out of the way and a couple of people got hit by the plastic b**kers . If your aged between 13-18 it's the place to go but if your a family looking for a festival or adults without children I would stay away . Croyde however is a beautiful place .

Food prices are too much, same with drinks, especially for cheap quality food and drinks eg cheap wine, £10 for hot dog. Queues for bar are soooo long. Headline acts used to be great but not so good this year. Pretty well organised event but needs to bring itself back to standard of previous years which were much better as it's starting to decline a little which is a shame.

Thought Friday & Sunday were the best, not impressed with Saturday line up & I know a lot of people thought the same, the weather made no difference.
Bars were still a nightmare, I thought there was going to be more & could have done with another water area as it was very busy.
Still despite this had a great time & looking for ward to next year.

Bought early bird tickets which were a great price for a family ticket, it was easy to find and park, all 3 evenings had fantastic music, with plenty to do, and a good selection of food was available. exiting the venue at the end of the evening, on all 3 nights was quick and well organised.... So no long traffic queues , great fun was had by all 😁

Review of GoldCoast Oceanfest 2024
This was my first festival, I went to accompany my teenage daughter. Really enjoyed it, it was well organised, we felt safe at all times, security was good and staff friendly and helpful. Good selection of bands and the dance tent was great fun! Would recommend.
