The venue simply oversold this event, meaning it was excessively cramped and overheated. It also meant that getting served at any of the bars took ages. The toilets got pretty disgusting and had really big queues. All in all, the value for money was poor, the drinks overpriced, and the atmosphere just a bit meh. The only consolation was the ceilidh band and the band playing downstairs.

Arta is a lovely venue with mostly friendly staff, but on this Hogmany I wasn't very pleased, it was very busy which is to be expected but people where crammed in where you had limited space to even get past people even to the toilets?, there wasn't enough floor staff or security on to help monitor this either in the main bar area or in the club? which to me was a serious health and safety issue? There was also very long waiting times to be served at the bars, I was nearly 30 minutes at one point? And It was the same way downstairs in the club. There was also a Ceilidh in the main bar which was badly organised and overcrowded and when people where trying to dance they where banging into each other? And also dancing with there drinks?. There was also allot of glasses and broken glass on the floors in several areas around the dancefloor and drinks spillage which made the floors And stairs areas very slippery and quite dangerous? And there was limited staff around to clean it up? Which was another serious health and safety issue.

Honestly, the best new year I’ve ever had! The only tiny wee thing I’d say is that there isn’t really enough room to properly ceilidh, and at 21.50 a ticket it’s a bit of a shame, but all in all it’s a good laugh. Drinks are reasonably priced, atmosphere is amazing, the venue is beautiful!! Absolutely wonderful, the staff are all amazing as well. Thank you for the wonderful service. Nothing but smiles the full night even though they’re giving up their new year. Thank you Arta!!

Arta is beautiful and somewhere really special to dress up and celebrate .Well organised the bar area was the area that let the venue down .
No southern comfort at the start of a busy Hogmanay And no mohitos as they had a rum offer on however people willing to pay extra if that’s what they drink . Music could of been more livelier however good choice of music after the bells and overall great night. With a good mix of people all ages . Thank you
