Symbiosis Drum & Bass All Vinyl special with Tunage DJs

Symbiosis is back and we're going old school for our November event with an all vinyl special featuring another of Scotland's best D&B crews!

We are long overdue to welcome Dundee's Tunage crew to the Symbiosis decks and the opportunity to bring them down for a pair of strictly wax sets seemed like a perfect fit! With deep roots in Drum & Bass and breakbeat oriented music stretching back to the 90s, Tunage united in the 2010s to bring the D&B sound back to the venues of Dundee and have been making their mark on the central belt ever since! Representing on the night will be Fritz & Diamond G.

Tunage head honcho and long time stalwart of the scene Fritz brings a deep appreciation of all things breakbeat to the Symbiosis decks. Pivotal in organising recent Tunage events at Kings, The Art Bar and Afrobeats in Dundee, and a frequent fixture at Sunday Service in Edinburgh and at events across the Scottish scene, Fritz keeps his selections deep and dark!

Tunage resident Diamond G similarly brings a longstanding love of all things D&B to the stage in Glasgow. Involved in the scene back in the 90s as a stage dancer for Rezerection & Helter Skelter, along with a few live PA's during that time, Diamond G went on to refound Urban Flava and continues to push the golden era hardcore and D&B sound along with the nuskool revival. Playing out with friends at Tunage, Urban Flava, Sunday Service, Bruk and regularly playing live onEnergy1058.com, Diamond G's selections bring us the original heart of breakbeat culture.
