Review of Hogmanay Party - Latin Connection (Glasgow)
Worst New Years 2023 experience ever. We didn't have any drugs on us and yet they falsely accused us, they body searched us, two people from Black, Asian, and minority ethnicity (BAME) , without have any substantial evidence. Due to our intersectional identities, we believe we were racially profiled and then searched. The body search was ineffective as we are two international students from two prominent university in Scotland and have nothing to hide. I guess we were taken aback as we did not expect to experience institutional racism and bias from a place like Boteco Glasgow. The female security also touched me inappropriately while searching. Never going back to Boteco again .

Review of Hogmanay Party 2022- Brazil meets Cuba (Boteco Glasgow)
I brought 3 tickets and when arrived there, one of the tickets was not working and they told me someone was in with the same code 😣 I paid again for other one.
The music was terrible there's not Latin music and the party finished at 4am not 5am.
There's not good event

Review of Hogmanay Party | Brazil meets Cuba
The New Year's party was nothing but a disco every weekend. With the exception of the fact that there were two DJs, two dance floors and two open bars, the party was no different from the others in this club.
Personally, I like this club very much. I am very often there but this time I was disappointed.

the event was enjoyable but it was due to the dancing. it did not feel like new year, there was no new year countdown or any other form of aknowledging new year or the bells.
