Enjoyed a terrific Beluga Lagoon gig at Barrowland, great crowd and excellent atmosphere. Sound was very good, loud but not ear-splitting as in some venues. Venue looks a little tired and was very warm with a full house: some (better?) air-con would be welcome. Andrew and the band were on top form, playing a brilliant set that had the house rocking. A night that will live long in the memory.

What a gig!!! The Beluga guys and gals were amazing as always! Andy is really finding his feet in working the bigger rooms!
And the Barrowlands Ballroom is always a fab venue. Entry was quick and efficient. Plenty of space for everyone to enjoy their night, no hassles! Brilliant.

Amazing gig - my 7th time seeing Beluga Lagoon & arguably the best - amazing atmosphere with everyone appreciating the band. Credit to the staff giving out water constantly.

No, we didn't enjoy the band live. We really enjoy their music and have listened to lots of recordings where the vocals and backing were excellent but live was another story. We felt there was a complete imbalance between the drums and bass (both drum and guitar basses), and the vocals. What we saw of the show (we left after half an hour) was simply a wall of noise and not at all what we expected from their studio work.
As for the venue, it would have been fine, but without any air conditioning it was far too hot and uncomfortable.
