Get The Beats on

 So I've been foolhardy and a little bit gung ho (not like me) and went and organised a party to raise funds for The Beatson Cancer Charity.

 It's been on my mind to do this for a while after a pretty shite 2024 so far for my family but it's by no means wholly altruistic because... I've also had it in my head for a while that I'd like to organise a party and DJ for my friends old and new. This seemed like an ideal solution to combine the two. I've got a letter of authority from The Beatson to collect funds on their behalf and I have also obtained an effortlessly cool and chic venue for the party in the Brunswick Cellars. (who I may add were lightning quick in agreeing to waive their venue and p.a. equipment fee for the party). 

So that means 100% OF THE MONEY FROM THE DOOR will be going to The Beatson.

 We'll call it "An Overs" but young and not so young are all welcome. We'll be concentrating unashamedly on feel good vibe tunes from the past 40 odd years and getting the party started straight away early doors from 6pm or 7pm with the house n disco supplied by the G man Gregor James Mcphie and we'll see where the night takes us on our musical journey but we have the venue till late so we'll stop when you drop ...so whether it's a girls night out..a boys night out...a girls and boys night out... A night out to enjoy as a couple before the madness of Christmas and families takes over or if it's an excuse for a long overdue catch up with loved ones...I promise I won't let you down to make it the night you want it to be ... So you have c84 days to arrange a sitter, arrange a hip replacement...arrange the Monday off work...whatever you need to do (in the immortal words of Arnie.....DO IT ...!...DO IT NOW.....!
