Review of Sasha & John Digweed
Love the act. Went to see Sasha last year in Glasgow and what a night! Bought tickets this reluctantly due to the venue after past experiences and nothing has changed. Firstly, as per, packed tight in like sardines. For a dance night not ideal esp when people drunk and falling all over the place and just pushing everyone out of the way. Secondly people smoking in the venue and nothing done about it probably because for such a rammed venue, apart from at the front and the main doors no security to be seen so drugs openly being dealt. I know I sound like a killjoy but it didn't feel safe at all with pockets of frustration/people getting agitated so I left at 1.30 which was a shame as I was in my element with the music but I got fed up trying to at least attempt a side toe tap before without getting an elbow in the side, back, head, face drink spilt over me, smoke in my face... Sure others will have had a different experience but this was mine hence the review
