Review of Johnny Mac & the Faithful Hogmanay Shindig & much more
An absolute ripoff for a mediocre show in a pathetic venue. Started at 8.00pm and Johnny Mac didn't come on until 11.20pm then joked repeatedly about Michelle Mone. Not my choice of music or entertainment. The support acts ran rings around him. The venue so does not lend itself to a music venue. Despite it being advertised as the Radisson Red Sky Bar, which is a stunning venue, it was actually in a hostel style, school dinners style, dining room with plastic chairs and Formica topped tables. The layout was such that whee I was seated, I couldn't even see the stage or artists. It was no different from sitting in a cafe and listening to their piped music. The hotel lobby was chaos with the crowd for two different venues arriving from the front doors and the lifts with no-one controlling it. A shambles of a venue. Would I go back, definitely not! £33 to hear, but not see, Johnny Mac for about an hour. He should stick to pantomime cos that's what we got.

Review of Johnny Mac & the Faithful Hogmanay Shindig & much more
Johnny Mac was a great host and frontman to his band. He created a wonderful atmosphere. The space was a bit cramped and the stage was very small. Not enough to dance.
