Mind Yersel' The Twistettes: "Jo and Nicky Darc make up The Twistettes with their dirty, twisted bass sound, a hit of swinging flare and thumping driving drums. They are punk, art-rock, riot grrrl, real-deal indie with a touch of psychobilly. The band have performed at various venues from the legendary Glasgow Barrowlands to secret underground parties. They are regulars on the UK festival circuit and have toured in the UK and South East Asia."
Motopia: “A fresh and powerful female fronted dynamic exploring social consciousness and the dualities of life through psychedelic rock and expressive performances. In a recent review with Reservoir Droogs they were described as "art and music being smashed together in the Hadron Collider and the resulting energy unleashed could be our energy solution for the future". Since their full band debut in May 2023 they have been making waves across the festival scene - playing two full seasons between Scotland and England. They collaborated with She Drew The Gun, supported Mickey 9s on their Scottish tour and are now preparing to release their first single.”
Louisa Roach: "Over three studio albums and nearly a decade, Wirral-born Louisa Roach has built She Drew The Gun into a project that fully lives up to its incendiary name. Her upcoming new album Howl has a special connection to Mind Yersel and the mountains of Portugal. During a chance visit to a festival bar in 2022, the universe threw Louisa a lifeline. “I met Lauren, now a true friend, there who said she knew I would walk into her bar and that she manifested me,”. “She told me about a place she was creating in Portugal in the mountains, some farmland she had bought which was for helping people heal, and I just burst out crying. She was like, ‘What’s the matter, do you need somewhere to go?’ And I was just like, ‘Yes, I’ve been looking for somewhere’. Visiting the mountains of Serra de Estrella and being in nature (“It does things to your system”) became a pivotal part of the healing journey that upcoming new album ‘Howl’ would eventually document."
