Review of Playground Festival
There were a few teething problems you'd expect from a festival in its first year, maybe less so. The heavy rain on the Saturday afternoon didn't dampen things too much. Lauryn Hill was a disappointment to say the least but this wasn't the organisers fault however.....she does have history! Otherwise, if it's on next year I'll be back.

This has the potential to be an amazing event but there are a few teething problems that need ironed out - ran out of wine about 4pm on Saturday, bar queues later on were really awful (over 1 hour wait at one point) and a headliner that can’t be bothered turning up anywhere near her time slot! However, atmosphere was great, street food fab, lovely vibe in the forrest for all and all staff very professional. I hope it continues!

Review of Playground Festival
Its becoming a disinsentive for me to come now when the expectations of being served refreshments other than bottled water will have you miss a sizable portion of the performance. It strips the excitement, fun and vibe from the event. Bands were great but having your back to the stage queing for so long makes takes too much away from what could have been a much better more enjoyable evening to make it worthwhile to return for another one.

Lauryn Hill barely showed up, the bar queues were ridiculously long, don't think even De La Soul wanted to be there. The organisation seemed to fall flat on Saturday. it could be a great festival, but Saturday missed the mark of what we were sold.

Review of Playground Festival
Lack of organisation.Cash only at most food stalls. No way of getting cash. Massive drinks queues. Lack of/pretty much no shelter provided even with rain predicted. Headliner over an hour late!! Festival staff were friendly though and the park seems like a nice location overall for a festival. A real shame that you couldn't leave once in, especially with the nice surroundings and drinks/food issues. Would have been 10 times better if I hadn't been trapped in there all day.

Sort out sustainability. My plastic bottle was filled from a paper cup which was being filled from small plastic bottles. Sort out waste/recycling. Provide seperate bins. Pints of craft beer....ran out early on Sunday. Craft cider would be good. More outdoor art installations, walking actors/theatre/comedy Second stage. Security staff refreshingly friendly. Amazing amount of space and no queues! Well done.

Review of Playground Festival
Went on the Saturday with my husband and 4 year old. Had been apprehensive following negative reviews of the facilities on the Friday night. I needn't have worried. Atmosphere was great and they had put stuff on for the kids. Even a massive rain shower didn't spoil it for us. Craig Charles and de la soul( although was hoping for more of their classics ) were the highlights for us- thankfully we left before Lauryn Hill but was always going to be a gamble having her as headliner. Food trucks were great. Face painters were great. All in all a great family festival. A few tweaks and it would have been perfect.
