Review of Playground Festival
Disappointed the main artist I went to see Lauren Hill was over an hour late and performed for less than 30 minutes, total waste of money. Queues far too long at bars and food outlets, not enough toilets. When festival finished no lightening in park, or exit signs! So dangerous, just seemed totally unorganised

Review of Playground Festival
Hugely unimpressed that De La Soul fannied around on the stage rather than singing, and Lauren Hill was over an hour late to the mic. In fact, I left at 10:30 rather than wait around. I won’t be back to this event.
There wasn’t enough cover for people when it rained, and there hadn’t been enough thought as to preparing the ground for rain. The mud was unbelievable around the bars and food areas. I fear for the safety of people attending this event on Sunday.
The signage on site was woeful, and upon leaving the park there was hardly anyone to be seen directing people to transport.
Shambolic.

Fun but lots to improve - perhaps more than one stage with more bands - expensive!
access to drinking tap water, more loo roll, shorter bar queues, maybe more shelter from the rain where you can still watch the music on main stage, but I think most of all for me, eliminating all plastic waste - your efforts to be sustainable are pretty lame. I hope you improve things for next year.

If they sort out the drinks situation where you were standing for 45mins for drinks and hand wash facilities at toilets, then this event would be Brilliant. The atmosphere was brilliant as it was an older audience and the Friendly Fires were Brilliant and the night Groove Armada were Awesome!!

Review of Playground Festival
So dissappointed that Lauryn Hill only played a handful of times but appreciated her spending time with the audience at the end. That made up for it in some way. Also dissappointed that Groove Armada finished at 10:50pm. DJ Reborn, De La Soul, Craig Charles, Cuban Brothers and DJ sets on Friday especially Barely Legal were all amazing!

We enjoyed our day, lovely to see families and the rain couldn’t be helped although more places with cover for shelter would have prevented so many people leaving and therefore spending.
the queues for drinks were too long and the bar ran out of wine v early on. Couldn’t cope with the numbers and demand. More toilet paper needed.
Craig Charles was superb but Lauryn Hill was such a let down. She was so late and only did 20 mins. Very arrogant and I hope she wasn’t paid!

Lauren Hill was very late coming on, just not acceptable as the main act. Drinks expensive, limited choice. Long queues for the bars. So glad I didn’t take my daughter as there seemed nothing for children. Very poor experience for a lot of expense. Will not be going back.

Craig Charles was a revelation, De La Soul were, of course, amazing. Lauren Hill though......hope you didn’t pay her. What a disappointment. Her eventual three song session didn’t merit her diva antics to be honest.

Review of Playground Festival
The headline act was so so disappointing- I’m furious. Only came to see her. Arrived at 8pm - Queues for drinks were 1 hour 15 and then wait for Lauryn Hill was 1.5hrs. If I wanted to wait 3 hours in ta park for literally a 30 minute set I would never have paid what I did. The bar staff were oh so casual. Just a poor experience for me. If it wasn’t for the DJ we would have walked out - she saved the day.

I had bought the tickets for the main act which was Lauren Hill! The set time she was meant to come on was 9.30 but she didn’t come on until 10.45 making the excuse it was her son birthday! No good enough playground! Especially paying £65 for a ticket and then selling them in itson for £39!!

Dreadful event....massive queues for drinks and food, headline act (Lauryn Hill) turned up over an hour late and played for 20 minutes, generally very badly organised. In short a total rip off, definitely won’t be back!!

Review of Playground Festival
Very disappointed as tickets were overpriced. Paid for 3 tickets for a family day out to see Lauryn Hill she was an hour late to appear on stage, she didn’t deliver, only performed 3 songs and said she would do a 4th track then she suddenly just left the stage snd didn’t perform! Waste of money and would like a refund please

It’s hard to imagine a more disorganised, unprepared and unprofessional event as the playground festival. The entire day was a complete rip-off and the headline act turned up over an hour late only playing four songs before being booed off stage. We will be seeking a refund.

I feel really sorry for the organisers due to the lateness of Lauryn Hill. I know this was probably out of their control. The fact she only performed 4 songs is really disappointing. Some acknowledgement from the oorganisers about this would be appreciated
