Review of Galactic Carnival Glasgow (12pm - 4pm)
The event was set up in a convenient area and parking was easy which is a bonus. Entry was slow with only one person checking online tickets. Once in the park, it was apparent there were groups of teenagers without adult supervision who were noisy, obnoxious and this created a daunting experience for younger children. In addition, there were rides not covered by the wrist band that has to be paid separately including the stalls such as ‘hook a duck’ which was £5 each - with two children that was an extra £10 on top of the £60 I paid to get in!
There was no seating available to get the children any lunch and have a break with a drink.
Overall, the children had a reasonable time although we’re out off some rides by the teenagers and of course, there were not aware of all the additional costs incurred.
