About

This Thursday we have a phenomenal lineup at Bungo's Basement Comedy Club with your headliner VLADIMIR McTAVISH, SCOTT AGNEW, JAY LYNCH and, IRYNA GIL and JOE CASEY at The Bungo

A stand-up and satirist with 30 years of Edinburgh Fringe performances to his name, headliner Vladimir McTavish is a much-loved staple of the Scottish comedy scene. His international appearances include the Adelaide Fringe, a sell-out run at the Dunedin Fringe in New Zealand, a nomination for the comedy award at Fringe World in Perth, the Singapore Comedy Festival, the New York Comedy Festival and the Aspen Comedy Festival in Colorado USA.

Winner of Best Fringe Show at the Scottish Comedy Awards.

His TV appearances include Frankie Boyle’s Tramadol Nights on Channel 4, The Rory Bremner Review on BBC2 and BBC’s BAFTA-nominated Live Floor Show.

“One of the finest acts on the Scottish comedy circuit” Guardian

“Nothing short of superb” Scotsman

Scott is considered one of the best storytellers in the business with TV presenting credits (MTV, BBC Three, STV) and many radio appearances (BBC FiveLive, BBC Radio Scotland, Clyde 1, Galaxy FM) under his belt.

The former Scottish Comedian of the Year has entertained up and down the UK and internationally and he is a regular headliner for the likes The Glee and The Stand as well as hosting in front of 8000 at Glasgow’s Gay Pride march in 2012. He has supported Jim Jefferies on the Scottish leg of his tour as well as UK comedy sensation Kevin Bridges at the music festival Rockness to 12,000 raucous rock fans. His set was so well received he was asked to return as support to Perrier winner Sean Hughes at the following year’s festival.

‘Rudely, hysterically funny and brutally, touchingly honest. This is autobiographical, explicit comedy at its pinnacle.’ ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Chortle.

‘A comedic thrill ride, searingly honest, exploding with humanity and laugh-out-loud funny from beginning to end.’ ⭐⭐⭐⭐Scotsman

“Likening him to Billy Connolly would seem trite if it weren’t accurate. Always hilarious.” ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐FringeGuru

‘Depraved and hilarious.’ Skinny

Resident compere JAY LYNCH is back with JOE CASEY and IRYNA GIL
