The Comedy Cabaret Glasgow Blackfriars Of Bell St

I hate to leave a bad review to any venue but this was more than deserved. An overly officious member of staff spent time walking past last row of our seating telling customers to "Shush no talking during act" A comedy club relies on audience participation so I found this amazing that staff don't realise this. When she was as equally noisy while chatting to her colleague I reminded her of earlier comment to us. She took umbrage at this, called over her manager who escalated situation by calling security. Sadly they asked us to leave after only 1 act. We have numerous witnesses who will confirm the staff were bang out of order. We will not return to this venue, will be telling as many people as possible of our bad experience and would advise anyone planning to visit a show here to seriously consider if they want to sit in silence being treated like children by the staff. This is no reflection on Skiddle as I have attended many events with them and is purely directed at Blackfriars staff.
