Review of Madchester presents Resurrection
I went to the gig with 5 others. Myself and one of my party went outside for a cigarette when we tried to renter the venue I wasn't searched but my friend was pulled over to be searched which I realise is standard procedure. While he was being pulled aside for a search, the security guard used an aggressive manner while searching my friend and then accused my friend of being aggressive he then asked him to take 5 outside which he done without any fuss. When trying to return another security guard asked the previous security guard if it was ok for my friend to come back into the venue be said no that my friend was to aggressive, even though his colleague was dismayed with his explanation he could not let my friend back in. I understand the challenges faced by the security as I myself have had experience in security, this security guard took a personal dislike to my friend which resulted in my whole party having to leave the concert as we would prefer to stay together. We did have a few drinks before the concert, but none of our party was drunk we were in good spirits and the security guards personal dislike for my friend resulted in us only seeing 30 minutes of the concert which is very disappointing after a venue and times change.
Thanks for the opportunity to give you feedback.
