Review of Solo Sonnets
I travelled from penzance in Cornwall to watch my son, Thomas Smitheram perform @solo sonnets, Glasgow. He was great!
The other performances were strong and vibrant. The entire staff presence were top flight, and they were engaging, sincere and friendly.I have worked the entertainment sector in the holiday park arena for 30 plays years, I've learnt lessons.!
What a delight 😊

Review of Super Bowl LVII Party - Sunday 12th February 2023
It is a good venue and one very suited to hosting a superbowl event. Plenty of screens which made watching very easy. I have no idea really of how the prices compare to other places in Glasgow. The pints may have been on the high side (?) but the food was really reasonable price especially for the quantity that we got. Staff were friendly, helpful and smiled which was nice.
This just shows my age but the music was a bit too loud before the game started and sometimes just not to our taste, so having any form of conversation was really difficult. Think the game volume was perhaps just right but I think I was slightly deafened by this point anyway. The wifi was useful, I do understand why they limited it for a good chunk of the night, otherwise it is a big help as there is no signal inside.
Overall a good venue and probably the best Superbowl event I've been to outside of going round a friend's house. Really good for our podcast and our listeners to be able to meet up. Thank you for having us! - Duncan from the Gridiron Gentlemen podcast
