'Don't Bore Us Get to the Chorus' with Jim Rowley
"Don’t bore us, get to the CHORUS!”
(attr. Berry Gordy)
Want to write catchier, hookier, songs?
Gloucester Folk Trail 2025’s Songwriting Workshop is all about writing choruses that grab the listener’s attention and sends them home humming along.
11.00am on Saturday 15th February 2025 at The Folk of Gloucester in The Severn Room, unfortunately this room is not accessible for wheelchair users due to the age of the building.
Led by Jim Rowley and hosted by Gloucester Songwriters’ Circle.
This will be a practical session with the aim of giving everyone something to go away with that they can continue to work on. Please bring pen and paper. If you have an instrument, this would also be useful (but by no means essential).
This workshop is followed by the Singer Songwriter Showcase in Room 101 of the Folk at 1pm.
Free entry but please register you ticket.
Under 16's will need to be accompanied by an adult.
