Katharine Ley
The Grimsby Symphony Orchestra's last concert of the year in the Minster on Saturday, November 30th at 3:30pm, sees a return to the podium of Music Director Susan Grant and local RNCM graduate Katharine Ley performing Dvořák’s Cello Concerto.
To go with this, Susan has chosen a relatively light programme of Rossini's 'Overture to the Barber of Seville' and Schubert
Symphony No.8 'Unfinished'.
This year also marks 40 years since the GSO last performed Dvořák with renowned cellist Paul Tortellier, who performed with us at the Ice House when he was 70 years old.
Tickets are on sale now from the Minster Cafe or www.eventbrite.co.uk
