Review of Clubland By The Sea
This night was brilliant both last year and this year, both the music and atmosphere. However when paying VIP you expect to not have to queue longer than people who buy standard tickets (both years) or for them to run out of VIP wristbands knowing how many VIP tickets were sold. You also don't expect the people at the VIP entrance to be letting people wearing standard wristbands in!
The "posh" toilets are disgusting!
The night itself is unreal but a few things could be changed to make it better and more organised 🙂

Review of Clubland By The Sea
I would not recommend Clubland and the security company Complete Event Safety to anyone. My cousin was kicked out and when I asked security why they could not explain. We asked if she had been kicked out could we at least see if she gets home ok as she is on her own and is vulnerable after having a drink. They told us that's absolutely fine and that they wanted to make sure she got home ok too and that they normally don't let people back in but given the circumstances they would. We went out to try and arrange a lift for her and explained to security we don't know why she had been kicked out to which they couldn't explain themselves. She has been conned into giving someone money for a taxi and had her money and bank card stolen. We explained this to security and we said anything could have happened to her why haven't you protected her and have you not saw it. The security says don't get lippy we've been told by my boss that you can't come back in to which we questioned why as we were told we could. He said I got it wrong and can't go against what my boss says we explained that he needs educating about how the event works as this is not fair to which he said no you need educating. I was sworn at by members of staff and told they can do what they like because their family run clubland. I explained it gives them no right to speak to me like that and that I wouldn't be returning. They told me they couldn't care less whether we return as they have millions of people coming each year and whether we come or not would not make a difference. We explained it's not fair that we have been interrogated and only tried to protect our relative. They told us they had been working most of the day and could not be bothered because they were tired. Some of them told us that they we should just take it from the staff and just keep our mouth shut and we questioned why they are not doing their job which is to protect the public to which they couldn't explain.
There was other young girls kicked out on their own for being intoxicated and they were so vulnerable as anything could have happened to them. They did not care and did not communicate with one another about how the venue ran and did not know how to protect young girls. Their attitude was disgusting.

Review of SoundWave Festival presents KAISER CHIEFS, FEEDER & HEATHER SMAL
Brilliant festival, great venue, something going on all the time to keep you entertained, some excellent music, food and drink reasonably priced and good quality. Harrison and his security team great a great job too.
