Review of Jurassic Pier - Hastings Family Fun Day
No ticket control so the crowd was ridiculous, could barely hear what was going on, poor sign postage- I thought it was going to be a better event than it was, however- The dinosaur (Allosaurus) we saw, was brilliant, but the overall event was poorly managed.

Review of Outdoor Tribute Festival comes to Hastings!
We purchased VIP tickets. There was no VIP bar and facilities or separate queue as advertised. And only one street food vendor having been informed there would be many. At 4pm the bar ran out of white wine. Sad really as the atmosphere was good. But need a refund on VIP costs.

Review of Jurassic Pier - Hastings Family Fun Day
I wasn't sure what to expect - but it was a little flat when we got there ... maybe just having dinosaurs around that the kiddies could have pictures with in "pens " ... and a few more dinosaur activities ... like fossil finding or slime making ... just felt a bit nothingness ... I am sorry as I know these things take time and effort.

Review of Outdoor Tribute Festival comes to Hastings!
Worst festival I’ve ever been to. Security overbearing and acting unnecessarily. No water available- illegal. Venue ran out of wine and draft beer within first half. VIP behind stage ! No re entry despite being a 10 hour gig with food limited and then running out. Moving seated people half way through afternoon which was unnecessary as plenty of room. I could go on …

Review of Outdoor Tribute Festival comes to Hastings!
Two of the acts were good, Ariana Grande and Queen. One was great - Elton John. The rest were pretty poor. Not allowing families with young children to take in small bottles of water was irresponsible and simply greedy on the part of organisers. You have to pay for everything was the mantra, meaning those parents with young, excited "boppers" were forced to fork out again and again to keep their children hydrated. While that was simply greed at work, the fact that none of the bars at the event gave any indication of price of drinks before purchase was, I suspect, actually illegal. If you are going to charge £7 for a beer at least have the courtesy to make the extortionate cost clear before you've swiped the customer's card. Finally, security. Obviously security is part and parcel of any event these days, but bearing in mind the average age of the audience and the fact that the festival had been branded and sold as a "family" event, was is really necessary for members of the security team to make intimidating forays into the audience in groups of three, wearing dark glasses and grim faces throughout the evening? The result was far more threatening than reassuring.
