Review of An Outdoor Orchestral Rendition of Dr Dre: 2001
The event was advertised 5pm-10pm, it was then pushed back to 6pm, once we arrived on the pier it was then announced that the show would start at 7.30pm but in actual fact it started at 8pm and finished at 9.15pm, the performers were good when they were on but it was also advertised that there would be alot more happening, not the same songs being sung twice over the hour and 15 mins, pretty disappointed overall, which was felt by alot of customers. We went to get a drink at 9.30pm only to be told the bars where shutting and security trying to tell us to leave the pier. Promoters need to get all the details correct before falsely advertising.

Review of Outdoor Tribute Festival comes to Hastings!
1st of all, no food or drink allowed which I would understand if the food stalls where fully open, huge ques and extortionate pricing, we were not allowed to leave venue and buy outside, this is a family gig and you have a captive audience, paying for vip tickets which included good toilets, s**t viewing option from behind the stage, wtf, bars were running out of drink from 6pm, joke, we were told taking seats were ok then to find security trying to force us to move to the side, we got there early to get the good spots, to be surrounded by security, my 81 Yr old mum got very upset over this(crying) and this was supposed to be a family event.
Totally disgusting attitude.
And on top of this the lack of people helping change the acts, waiting 30 to 45 mins between acts. So wrong.
Vip tickets saying que jump, didn't happen, bar, very busy, seating behind the stage, wtf s**t
So sum up
Not enough food options, s**t
Not enough drink options, s**t
Organisational skills, s**t
Vip tickets were not worth the extra. Disgusting.

Review of Outdoor Tribute Festival comes to Hastings!
Great venue, tributes were good, but different bands played than the ones that were scheduled. no Bowie, no Fleetwood mac and no oasis!. we got Rod stewart and the spice girls instead!.
Elton john was very good though!. The draught beers ran out at 2pm which was a big disappointment!. more food stalls would help too!

Review of Outdoor Tribute Festival comes to Hastings!
Bands not as advertised and quality was lacking VIP ticket was a joke could not see stage and when wind blew couldn't hear it very well, small VIP area nothing special, Security staff sometimes very abrupt with public unnecessarily. Venue did not have enough food outlets huge queues and Bars had run out of all draft beer when I went ro buy my first drink with only limited can options which very very overpriced. I would not attend this gig again and certainly not at venue.

Review of An Outdoor Orchestral Rendition of Dr Dre: 2001
Not an orchestra. Really nice idea but like... did expect to see more than 6 players. It was nice nostalgia to hear songs from such a great album again, but we were really pretty disappointed in the execution. I'd rather they charged more and made it a much larger orchestra.

Will never come to this event again. Definitely not family friendly. Disgusting not allowed to enter with own food or re enter if you need to come off pier. Beer was running out by 4.30pm. Audience also told no sitting and had to move half way in to the afternoon. Dreadfully organised.

I didn't get into the concert because I arrived a few minutes after 5 p.m., my ticket didn't have the information that the last people get in at 5 p.m. I was cheated :(

Review of Outdoor Tribute Festival comes to Hastings!
Absolutely shocking, total shambles. From the VERY limited bar selection (which started to run out within 4 hours) & prices, the rude staff & heavy handed security, totally different acts to those advertised, the ones that were on were mostly rubbish (think pub karaoke, but BAD pub karaoke!) 2 yes I said 2 food stalls which didn't open until much later than the 'festival' did, which caused huge queues, you were not allowed to leave & re-enter, not even for forgotten medication or to extend your parking ticket, although there were plenty of portaloos, you weren't allowed to queue, you were told to all squeeze into the middle & everyone had to run whenever somebody came out! Literally I could go on for hours about how badly organised it was, but I'm boring myself! I will definitely be requesting a full refund!!!!

Enjoyed the above, but it was spoilt by over the top security!! Had an awful experience getting into the venue, for that reason, would never go again, or recommend to anyone!!

Review of Outdoor Tribute Festival comes to Hastings!
We have been going to the pier for events for many years but this year was dreadful and we left early. We took camping seats as it was gong to be a long day and by about 4pm the security were telling us that the whole area was a dance floor and that we coudnt sit down. There were many people sitting on the floor and there were people dancing at the front which was no problem. They became very aggressive and were very aggressive towards an 8 year old girl nearly sayng she had to stand. This made a very made atmosphere around us. A bit later my friends decided to go nearer to the stage when an incident took place and the security guards actually trampled on my friend knocking her to the floor. My last but not least complaint was my friends son had a ticket and was going to be attending the concert at 5pm after he had spent the day with relations. The security on the door said that because it was 5.05 pm he wouldnt be allowed in. This boy was 11 years old and the security were adamant that he could come in because of the time. After a while as he wouldnt budge my friend had to make arrangements for her son to be picked up but this left us really angry and disappointed with the whole day. After that we noticed that the security were still letting people in after 6 and 7pm. If the pier is going to use the same security then we feel we are not safe and probably not come there again. a very disappointed music goer

Review of Outdoor Tribute Festival comes to Hastings!
The bar was ridiculously overpriced, there were hardly any food stalls & the ones they did have, the queues were ridiculous! Hardly any of the advertised acts were there. The sound system was shocking, as you walked away from the stage, the speakers made your ears bleed. Once in the venue, you were not allowed back out, we had an overnight stay booked & wanted to pop back to our room for our jackets, etc, for the evening! What a ridiculous rule, why not stamp your hand & let you come & go as you please or at least one exit & return. We had a great time as we were dancing in the sunshine with friends but I would not recommend or return to this event unless under new management.
Plus side - plenty of toilets!

Paid for VIP but waste of money. Viewing area faced the back of the stage and with the wind you couldn't hear anything. Acts pulled from set list which was disappointing

Review of Outdoor Tribute Festival comes to Hastings!
Not sure all the bands turned up. Security for H&S tried to move an 80yr old woman off her chair and stand. Also a woman who had difficulty standing unless they moved to the back of the crowds. Vip area was at back of the stage so couldn't watch bands. My partner & I left to get some food and we had wristbands but wouldn't let us back in without tkts. Also ran out of beer very early.
