Review of Brave Rival - The Carlisle, Hastings - Friday 4th October 2024
Never seen this band before but they were fantastic. Loved the idea of two front women. Would definitely see them again. The band were spot on with enthusiasm and interacted with the crowd brilliantly. The bar wasn't as busy as usual probably because we'd already paid to gain entry and obviously that ate into the drinks budget. I was annoyed that tickets were advertised at £15 but were £16.75 on SKIDDLE.

Review of Brave Rival - The Carlisle, Hastings - Friday 4th October 2024
Seen these guys a few times, just get better and better. Powerhouse vocals from the two leading ladies backed up by some incredible musicianship from the rest of the band. Tight, faultless and VERY LOUD. One of the hardest working live bands around and very engaging with fans. Brilliant.

Review of Television Personalities
A great night out in Hastings hadn't seen the TVP's for yonks and they still pulled it off. The Hastings Punk choir (all 34 of them!!) provided a vocal cacophony that really made the night spesh.

Review of The Cold Stares - The Carlisle, Hastings Friday 30th August 2024
I never thought I would get to see a band like The Cold Stares in such an intimate setting as The Carlisle so when I was they were playing I jumped at the chance to buy tickets and boy was I glad I did. The support from AK & The Red Kites, on only their second ever gig together, worked hard to get the reasonably light crowd going and deserved their warm applause after their set. The Cold Stares played a set covering songs old and new, and although the crowd was quiet between songs after initial appreciation, it was more of a respectful silence from a crowd listening to the band rather than one having private conversations. The set whistled past with Nothing But the Blues being a personal favourite on the evening.

Review of Bad Touch - The Carlisle, Hastings - Friday 23rd August 2024
It was a great gig, lots of energy, passion and crowd engagement. I went to see the support band Revenant, who were great, so it was a bonus to get to know Bad Touch.
