Review of Hastings Reggae Festival 2024
Really enjoyed the event! Great music and really yummy food, I was especially pleased that there was plenty of choice for vegans and those with intolerances. Plenty of toilets that were checked regularly too.
My one slight moan about this event is that having a single stage where the artists had to set up and do sound checks in between each set meant there was a lot of waiting about between sets - in some instances it took 50 minutes between one artist leaving the stage and the next artist being ready to perform. This meant the crowd lost its vibe and the artists had to work extra hard to pick everyone back up again.

Review of UK Garage By The Sea
Another badly organised event by Skiddle. In your face security. Sniffer dogs! Really. Would have been easier to visit an inmate. It really spoils what should be an enjoyable day out. Limited food and drink outlets causing very long queues. Exhortinate prices £6 for a can of awful beer and £29 for a cheap bottle of wine. Very limited choice of alcohol. Not enough lighting when leaving the venue making it difficult to see. Very long queues to get in. Boogie by the Sea was equally as bad and tomorrow I am going to see look a like bands on Hastings Pier. No information posted, no line up times. They never answer any questions. Unfortunately, I have booked these events in advance. Never, ever again will I book to attend an event with Skiddle. I am a seasoned music festival attendee and they organise the worst events I have ever attended.

Review of Hastings Reggae Festival 2024
The event was great apart from the problems with the sound system which occurred before Aswad came on, they were clearly not happy with it, and unfortunately this held other acts up, it didn't flow properly after that, also the delay cut us short of watching the last act, but I would go again in the future.

The acts were great, the energy was great, the flow was great no hanging about waiting for the next performance. The only thing that spoiled it a bit was the repetition of songs....it seemed we heard the same songs again and again throughout the day

The sound quality from the artists wasn't very clear at times it was difficult to understand what was being said on the mic. Also, waiting 40 minutes or 1 hour is too long for the next artist to come on stage. it spoils your experience.
