Review of Boogie Bingo Live! - Movie Musicals - Hull 2/12/23

It was terrible the event was basically cancelled but without cancelling it. There was a band that were really nice and played good music but they told us they only got hired the night before and they didn't play any musicals music. Also the bingo was all over the place the prizes were rubbish and there was no atmosphere. We paid for a hotel and travelled to hull as I have been to some events before and they were really good. This was a disappointing experience!

Tried to be like bongos bingo and failed. Price dropped by £6 since we booked. No atmosphere and our tickets didn't even scan said they were for another event.

This was my first time going out to bingo and let's just say I won't be rushing back!
Debs the bingo caller was asked multiple times to slow down reading the numbers out, even the regulars had a hard time keeping up. As for the boogie part, the singer was great but the silly games in between were more irritating than fun. Who wants to win a blow up water melon or life size cardboard cut out of Hugh Jackman?!
Having said all that, the staff were nice. Particularly Emma who helped explain everything to me and was always nearby in case I needed her!

Had so much fun, the atmosphere was great. Will b attending the january event. The only thing that could be improved is the food, not great size meal for the price u pay, my garlic bread was still frozen. However it hasnt put me off coming again to these events great value for money

Was a good night, wish that ticket prices didn’t go down closer to the day as that’s not fair on those that have paid full price! Strippers were fab, bingo was good and even the music bingo! Will be coming back again if the event takes place again!

The drag artist was amazing so was the butlers in the buff but the strippers were boring the song choices were not good for strippers to strip to it was funeral songs so the atmosphere wasn’t electric like we were hoping for if the songs for the strippers were up beat it would have been so much better then it was

All drinks served out of cans, no bottled spirits, the main act only played one of his own songs, wouldn't recommend

Review of Bingo Wonderland Presents: ABBA Bingo (Hull)

There were more Abba songs being played at the pub across the way. The prizes were very cheap and tacky. The atmosphere was really good though. Everyone seemed to be having fun. The venue drinks were really expensive and they didn’t offer food, the same as they do at the regular bingo. They wandered around with hotdogs only. They wouldn’t even serve crisps that they had made unavailable. Chips were on a table from the regular bingo but they said they weren’t putting any on for the Abba event, only hotdogs (at £5 each). Two of the party are vegetarian too, so this was no good for them. It was a good experience but I wouldn’t do it again.
