Review of BIG IN 2023! Open Arms, Hawke The Band, Fat Dads & Edge Of 13

Fantastic night:
It was an excellent night: Kris Mac as ever sounding great. The Fat Dads gave us their set interspersed with a bit of crowd interaction. Hawke the Band did not disappoint. Open Arms finished the night with a blistering set of their own songs and a few covers.

Review of ZZ TOPPD - O\'Rileys, Hull

The venue not impressed when there’s a broken pram in the front of the building it kind of put me off, once inside, it seemed ok, at little rough and ready. Did not like been served booze in plastic this may be a licensing thing, who knows. It was cold inside but it was cold outside
The band , as a zz top cover band musically was fine but the singing was not there, it was to quite and not cutting though , with about 30 people in the audience it was lacking in atmosphere, this may be about how the gig was promoted who knows.
At £10 plus booking fee it seemed very expensive for what it was
Would l go and see the band again? This answer is no, would l go to the venue again? It would depend on who is playing
