Leg ~ It! Presents: Rave Against Hate

Raves (especially unlicensed or 'illegal' ones) have always been intrinsically intertwined with politics. 

They have always been about people coming together with a shared love dance music and wanting to escape the system and world they're surrounded by and do something different. To make a stand in a world that had forgotten so many. 

We've made it no secret that we're politically active and given the current political & social climate of the world, now more than ever we wanting to create safe spaces for people to come dance, enjoy themselves and be themselves regardless of race, gender, beliefs and many other differences. 

What we cannot stand for is hate. 

Peace - No peace in riots. 

Love - No love in hate. 

Unity - We are all one species, we don't own this land, we're just living on it for a short while so take care of your fellow humans. 

Respect - Everyone has different faith, views, skin colour, nationalities, lives, experiences & worlds. That's not an excuse for hatred, violence or racism. It's wrong and shouldn't ever be used as a tool to hurt others in any way, verbally, mentally or physically.

To remain silent is to be complicit. 

We are ALL Renegade. X
