Ticket prices were reasonable for adults but absolutely ridiculous for children! Music was fab, atmosphere was fab, great venue! Hope this will be an annual event.

Great day out with great music. The only down side was the length of the ques for the Bar. There was plenty of room could of doubled the size of the bar or even had 2 bars. Queuing for over an hour and a half is no fun.

Queue for drinks was ridiculous. 2 hours long at the start. I was there 3 hours in total and 2 were spent in a bar queue. Saw one act, the view then left to find the queue now longer than the original, extremely disappointing. I doubt I'd come back

The bar que extremely long, my partner, her sister and myself
Wouldn't allow us to bring perfume and aftershave into the venue
We didn't have any alcohol on us.
The security staff asked us to leave our perfume and aftershave beside a fence.
They would keep an eye on it .
When we left the venue our perfumes and aftershave were gone Spoke to security staff
Very unhelpful
And poor attitude
Will not be returning

Cracking event! Great music and atmosphere. As many will probably mention, there was an issue on Saturday with there only being one bar which meant that for one round for 2 people, we waited in line for an hour. Bar staff were fab. Think it was just that there needed to be at least one other bar of the same size. Was fine on Sunday, but it was a family crowd so I suspect fewer drinkers. My partner also said that there was rarely toilet paper in the ladies, so perhaps just needs monitoring during the event.

Very accessible festival well run needs another bar for peak times marquee was good size to accommodate everyone when it was raining we would go again next year

Small venue, two small bars for thousands of people. We got to venue @17.30 and queued for a drink for 80 minutes, moving approximately 20 yards in that time. We left. Didn't see any of the main bands, only heard the brilliant Cundeez because they were playing a tiny outdoor stage. Bought these tickets as a gift for my partners birthday months ago and we were so looking forward to it. Absolute shambles.

I primarily came to see The View, but loved Peat & Diesel and the earlier support acts. We had great weather on the Saturday too. I won't be the only one to mention it but the queues for the bar were ridiculous and the worst I have ever seen anywhere. We avoided the queue for 2 hours in the hope it would die down but eventually queued for at least 45 minutes. Fortunately, that meant we avoided the huge queues for the inadequate toilets. Get those 2 things sorted and you'll have a great festival venue, and make substantially more money from the bar. We would also have bought food at the venue if we hadn't spent so long in the beer queue.

Nice event, everything was good except for insufficient bar availability - queueing for an hour and a half to two hours to get served! I believe this will be rectified by the next BIB next year!

This was the 'first' Black Isle Belter; hoping they'll be a second!
There were a few hitches which could be better planned second time around;
- the queue/wait time for the bar was very very long; having a larger or probably a second/third bar would solve this
- there weren't enough bins and they were all generally labelled generically as 'recycling': this meant everything got dumped together and was over spilling; not a pleasant sight and much harder for the clean up crew; larger bins and separate bins clearly marked for the different recycling would resolve the issue.
- clearer info re: what could be taken into the event regarding food and drink containers would be useful.
Other than that, the event was relaxed, fun and had a great atmosphere. The food outlets offered plenty of high quality choice.
Would definitely go again and recommend to others.
