Review of Black Isle Belter
The venue was good but poorly managed 45 to 60 minutes wait for the bar. Iâm sure the idea was brilliant but poor amount of trucks as it was advertised as a truck show. All the band had a great sound Peat N Diesel had a very good sound but did not play long enough and spent far too much time talking in between songs and didnât keep the atmosphere going, the marquee was full when they kicked off but at least 1/3 of the crowd had left early due to the band messing about.
Think they need a kick up the backside and give a performance we know they can deliver.

Review of Black Isle Belter
We had tickets to the family day - came with our young child and were not allowed to bring water in for her or snacks - there was no where visible to fill up her water bottle and had to que to buy it, plus the kid friendly choices of food were limited - she'd have eaten the food id prepared and was made to thro in the bin. It was the family day id bought for, I wasn't out for a session, taking food out of the mouths of kids on family day was a bit of bad craic.

Review of Black Isle Belter
It was very well organised and managed throughout. With thoughtful details like handing out water to the public watching the performances. And stopping people lifting someone else on to there shoulders thereby blocking the view of those behind. Well done to everyone involved. Brilliant venue and great day out!!!! Canât wait for another ðð

Brilliant music, good venue, fair prices, I hope there's another one next year! It could have been improved by having more beer tents, employing friendlier, more confident, security staff & by allowing folk to bring in camping chairs. We had a really fantastic day - tapadh leibh! ð

Review of Black Isle Belter
I thoroughly enjoyed the music, and if I had gone without my kids, I would have had a great time. My 11 and 12-year-olds were not impressed by the lack of entertainment outside of the big tent. They loved playing football but wore themselves out. If they had been able to go to the car and chill out for a while, it would have made a massive difference. Additionally, not being able to go to the car when you aren't allowed any drinks into the venue is never a good idea. It might keep the vendors happy, but it's a rubbish experience for people who have already paid a lot of money for tickets and have kids that sometimes need a bit of quiet and to sit away from others. it's a very long day for kids when there isn't an option for them to have some downtime. unfortunately we won't come back to this festival but I personally will be delighted to see any and all of the bands again.
