Review of The Gathering
The bands and the music on offer at The Gathering were excellent - great to be showcasing Scottish Talent, particularly from Inverness/The Highlands. The bands kept their timetable really well and the changeover between groups was quick.
The price of the ticket was definitely justified with the music on offer. I would be happy to pay £45 again for a ticket.
The bars were not good - the queues for each were huge. We queued for nearly 40 minutes to get drinks. The queue for the main on stretched the entire way across the park. The prices were also quite expensive and some of the drink appeared to run out pretty quickly.
The queuing time was the same for the food outlets.
I would suggest that perhaps another big bar on the otherside of the grounds may help ease the pressure and speed up queue times.
Other than this, the event was well organsied. I thoroughly enjoyed it and hope it's the start of many more to come?

Review of The Gathering
Qued an hour and a half for the bar another hour and a half for food. The situation in the tent where Pete and Diesel were meant to play was dangerous and frightening for kids. we had to leave, anybody that knows anything about Pete and Diesel knew before they even came on it was a dangerous situation, the stewards were overwhelmed and worried.
There was not enough food and drink venues for the amount of people there.
On a positive the toilets were very well maintained and the music was good but I would not go back

Bar queue took an hour and a half to get served! The peat and diesel fiasco ruined for many. The hype surrounding this band should of predicted that the main stage was best and safest venue for them. Kids were devastated. Otherwise venue good but definitely need more bars people left as fed up waiting to get served

Review of The Gathering
Overall, a well ran one day festival of northern and Gaelic music. Food queues were long at times, but excellent quality. The festival tent needs some attention as serving drinks and having large picnic tables where acts performed did not work.

Review of The Gathering
The whole event was amazing! So well set up and great use of the space. The variety of music was amazing! Only criticism is the bar prices - £5 for a spirit and mixer is a little OTT. Maybe need to have a look at food etc too as queues were SO long! Spent an hour waiting for food for maybe have more stalls next year would help with this?

Review of The Gathering
This is great venue for events. Badly organised bar with ridiculous prices. Not enough bar staff or bar area for people. Will not buy tickets again although the bands were great. Badly organised
