The National Hotel

Nestled in the Viking capital of Scotland, The National Hotel stands on the site of old stable Buildings, which date back to the 10th century. The present hotel building was built in 1859, and was known as The Robertson’s Hotel. The hotel was renamed in 1911 as The National Hotel. The National Hotel is situated in Dingwall one of the smallest chartered burghs in Britan. Granted its burgh rights by Alexander in 1226. The Vikings had their court of justice here on Greenhill at the west of the town. Since 1972 The National Hotel changed hands several times. Once again The National Hotel is under new ownership, Mr & Mrs Fraser intend to restore The National Hotel to its Glories.
