The Underground Venue

The venue takes its name from a 1980’s haunt of the same name which was popular with the alternative and ska counter culture scenes of the day. “It’s a new small venue dedicated to independent Irish music for music lovers and fans, a place for us all to call home ..” says Judge, who promises lots of exciting things are on the horizon for the venue. And while he has to keep those things “hush hush” at present, one of the first events The Underground will host will be Hard Working Class Heroes. We suspect many British tourists will be led astray by the sign, only to find a warm welcome awaiting them in The Underground.
