Review of Queen Reloaded
First visit to 45Live. Great venue and fantastic fruendly atmosphere. Queen reloaded were really good and very entertaining. Ticket prices offered value for money. Drinks very reasonably priced. We will definitely return. Feel lucky to have a great little music venue like this on our doorstep.
We were very surprised when we went inside, the outside gives nothing away and we weren't expecting much, but really nice and a good vibe.

Review of A Foreigners Journey
If you have never seen this group, treat yourself and go. The musicianship is second to none, vocals are better than the original vocalists once you get over Jack Black coming on stage.

Review of A Foreigners Journey
Where do I start! Apparently a sound-check had been done but the sound was terrible. The drum level by far drowned out everything else. The vocalist could hardly be heard to begin with and there were a couple of guitar solos which could not be heard. The drummer frequently managed to slow things down almost to a halt. 'Feels like the first time' almost did come to a stop. The build up was that they gave been around for 10 years and covered Europe. The vocalist said that he had only been with the band for 6 months. Sorry but I have seen better cover bands than this.
The venue. First impression was good. Well laid out. Sufficient seating. Thought we were in for a good night. But. First the Guinness ran out (by 8 o'clock). Then the bottled stock of Koppaberg alcohol free ran out. Two people in my party commented that the bitter tasted foul. And the ladies said much the same about the C**e. Stocks should have been replenished before the event started especially as this had been advertised on line for months!
Prices: would have been reasonable if taste was palletable.
Atmosphere: considering I booked 6 advance tickets on line to ensure we got in I was gobsmacked to find that there were probably no more than 100 people in there all night. In a venue that would hold probably 10 times that. It must be said though that the doorman who welcomed us was great. Told us where everything was. Toilets etc. Brilliant.
But unfortunately we found the whole experience very very disappointing.
Highlight of the evening was the McDonalds meal afterwards.
